Transportation notes: Marta and carpooling are recommended. There will be some on-street parking. There is a bus stop in front of the Atlanta Friends Meeting Hall, and it is .4 miles from the East Lake Marta Rail Station. There is a covered walking bridge over College and Howard Avenues that allows one to take the sidewalk toward Decatur where the Hall is located.
New Location Announcement: 9/3/2009
This is official notice that the Atlanta Pagan Pride event, scheduled for
October 10th, 2009 from 10AM-5PM rain or shine, is changing locations.
I am very happy to announce that our new location is in the Atlanta Friends
Meeting house.
Atlanta Friends Meeting
701 West Howard Avenue
Decatur, Georgia 30030
We are very excited about this new location. It has a large fenced
playground for children, a wonderful indoor area, and lovely grounds. We
highly recommend Marta and/or carpooling. There will be some parking, and
some street parking available at the sight but the Marta station is close
and a great option.
********Please help us out by getting the word out about this change to as
many people as you can*******
When you do, please specify that this is a
NEW LOCATION.
This change is solely due to the fact that we have been having some extreme
logistical problems with parking.
We are very, very, very grateful to the UU church for their generosity in
willingness for us to use their property.
Blessings,
Lady Arden
